The ground-breaking ceremony and foundation stone laying for the divine, auspicious, and grand temple "Shri Ram Mandir" was performed with the grace of the Almighty on June 11, 2000 under the auspices of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya ji Maharaj in the presence of Swamiji.

The construction of the temple is scheduled to start on December 18, 2001. Swamiji aspires to inspire at least 500 founding members for this assiduous work. Those donating Indian Rupees Rs.1,07,001.00 (One lakh seven thousand and one) or US $2106.00 (Two thousand one hundred and six) will be identified as the founding members and will be honored with a title "Manas Putra/Putri".
